We extend our sincere gratitude to our incredible donors and partners, whose continuous support drives our mission of alleviating hunger. Food Hampers
During May, we provided 769 food hampers filled with essential supplies to support those experiencing food insecurity.

These hampers assisted a diverse group of 1,515  individuals (an 11% increase from April), including 186 seniors, 84 single parents, and 487 children in our community.
Emergency Hamper
Our emergency food hamper program continues to offer vital support to individuals and families who need additional assistance after receiving their monthly hamper.

Last month, our food pantry distributed 202 emergency food hampers which is a 25.4% increase from the previous month, April 2024.
First Time Visits
In May, we saw 61 new individuals and families turning to our food bank services. This represents a 27% rise compared to the prior month.

We greatly appreciate your ongoing support in tackling this challenge as a united effort. Your generosity has a significant impact!
Children Served
In May 2024, our efforts reached 487 children in need with healthy snacks, reflecting an increase of 26.4% compared to the 385 children we supported in April 2024.

This increase highlights the deepening challenges faced by the youngest members of our community, emphasizing the vital need for sustained support.
Single Parents - Numbers Increased
In April, we supported 61 single parents, but by May, that number had risen to 85, marking a heartrending 39% increase.

This surge powerfully illustrates the mounting hardships single-parent families endure. Thank you for being with us in our  mission to relieving hunger of all the levels of our neighbours in the city.
Loaves of Bread Baked in Our Kitchen
Last month, we baked more than 355 loaves of bread in our kitchen to feed our neighbours in the city, part of our ongoing effort as we make bread every week to ensure everyone has access to food.
Goulash & Soup Prepared
In our community kitchen, we whipped up 360 healthy meals of Goulash and 310 bowls of chicken soup, maintaining our commitment to providing healthy meals to those we serve.

In May, St. David's creatively supported Bridges To Hope with a toilet tissue drive, highlighted by a unique "Toilet Tissue Tree" display.
