Food Hampers
Throughout February, we provided a total of 726 food hampers filled with essential food items to support individuals experiencing food insecurity.

These hampers reached a diverse group of 1,424 individuals, including 236 seniors and 65 single parents in our community.
Emergency Hamper
Our emergency food hamper service continues to provide vital assistance to individuals and families in urgent need, supplementing their monthly support.

Last month, your unwavering kindness ensured stability with 171 emergency hampers distributed underscoring your impact compared to the previous year's 207.
First Time Visits
In February, we provided assistance to 47 individuals and families who were new to food bank services. This represents a 12% rise compared to the prior month.

Children Served
Last month, unfortunately, we saw another devastating increase in children seeking food aid assistance, now totaling 451; A 10% increase from the 404 children we helped feed the previous month

This is truly heartbreaking. Hunger Hurts.
Pre-Storm Rush: Unprecedented Surge in Demand
February,13th marked an unprecedented surge in demand at our food bank, with 164 individuals—including 53 children, 52 females, and 59 males—seeking assistance. To meet this urgent need, we distributed a remarkable 87 hampers, the highest number ever recorded in a single day. Your ongoing support enables us to respond swiftly to such critical situations, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.  Our clients and we are so deeply grateful to you all.

We're thrilled to announce that from March 1st to March 31st, CanadaHelps (our donation platform) is ramping up its support to Bridges to Hope. During this campaign period, for every new monthly donation of $20 or more, we will receive a one-time $20 boost from CanadaHelps. Already a monthly donor? If you increase your existing monthly donation by $10 or more, CanadaHelps will add a one-time $10 to your contribution.

Please consider joining our Sustainers Circle monthly giving program. This group of compassionate, dedicated supporters started in response to surging demand so that we could continue to offer fresh fruits/vegetables for all our clients and Healthy Snacks for over 400 children a month. Help fill empty plates now and into the future!

St. Andrew's Church Sunday School Donates
We're grateful to St. Andrew’s Church Sunday School for assembling 107 'ready-to-go soup kits' with ingredients and jars.
We appreciate the efforts made by 15 youth and leaders. They organized fundraisers and assisted with assembly.
